Shall We Return to the Cross Please?

I don't know the full details of what was going on in the Church at Corinth when Paul wrote to them. But from his letter in 1 Corinthians, I presume a similar situation still goes on today in the body of Christ.
One thing has always been on my list of questions regarding Christianity: "How could we claim to be one body and yet be so divided among each other?" And I would be lying if I say that I don't get

caught up in "doctrinal debates" (for lack of a better word). Most times, it comes from a place of confusion while thinking: " Why does this Church believe in this and this doesn't when we all proclaim the same gospel"
I get really inquisitive about these things partly because I know what it feels like to lack knowledge in something you claim to believe and the other half because I want all of God and I'd hate to miss out on that due to partial knowledge of Him. But the truth is, the knowledge of God is so infinitely vast that we will never be able to have a 100 percent understanding of Him, while we are still here. In fact, I don't think he intended for that to me so; it's the mystery that keeps us longing for more :).
“Can you discover the depths of God?
Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
“They are high as the heavens, what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol, what can you know?
“Its measure is longer than the earth
And broader than the sea- Job 11:7-9
I am all up for having healthy conversations about doctrines and I am not in anyway disputing the importance of these things. I, for one, have been saved, by the grace of God, from going down the path of destructive doctrines. My point, however, is that, while we do this, let us remember the one thing that brings us all together- Christ. Let our love for Him remain the number one priority.  There will always be a lot of discrepancies in the way we choose to express our faith but the truth of His death and resurrection for our salvation will forever remain unequivocally true.
I am guilty of this as well and I am only able to see this by His grace. Shall we please return to the cross where it all began and let it remain the glue that holds us all together as one body.

Grace and Peace <3 p="">
